A Long, Beautiful Road to Publishing
The road to publishing Memphis has been long, challenging, and full of learning curves — but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I’m incredibly proud to finally be sharing this story with the world… or really, sharing Memphis’s story.
As an indie author, I’ve worn many hats in this process. Everything — from writing, editing, and marketing to book design and formatting — ultimately falls into my lap. It’s been overwhelming at times, but also empowering to take full ownership of my creative vision.
The print edition is coming soon, and I’m currently working on the interior formatting with the amazing team at Damonza Studio, who also brought my dream cover to life. Their design completely captured the tone and feel of the story.
And I have to give a huge shoutout to Adrienne Kerr, my editor, who was a dream to work with and helped shape this book into what it is today.
What’s Next? YouTube, Giveaways & More
Now that I’m officially a published author (still feels surreal!), I’m also pivoting toward YouTube as my next creative outlet. My channel will dive into the themes explored in Memphis — like toxic relationships, power dynamics, survival, and personal transformation — plus content around true crime, storytelling, and wellness.
