Holly May Cormier Side Curly Hair

Holly May Cormier is a Canadian writer based in Toronto, Ontario, where she lives with her partner, two daughters and beloved pets. A lifelong storyteller, Holly has been writing since childhood, producing short stories, songs, and poems. Though she initially pursued a degree in E-Commerce Management with a focus on marketing communications and online audience building, Holly has always balanced her professional pursuits with a deep love for the creative arts. Alongside her writing, she has worked as an actress, songwriter, and model—exploring various artistic expressions throughout her career.

Her debut novel, Memphis, took three years to complete, a process she describes as both challenging and deeply rewarding. Drawing from her diverse background in the arts, Holly’s writing blends emotional depth with compelling storytelling, creating characters and narratives that resonate with readers on a personal level.

Outside of writing, Holly is passionate about the natural world. She can often be found hiking, fishing, boating, or enjoying the fleeting Canadian summers with a good book in hand. A lover of music, Holly is known for her ability to dominate a game of “Name that Tune” and has a particular fondness for discovering new artists. Her literary influences include the works of Chevy Stevens and Margaret Atwood, whose mastery of suspense, character, and place inspires Holly’s own storytelling.

Currently, Holly is querying her completed manuscript to literary agents and is eager to find the right representation for her work. With a strong commitment to her craft and an unyielding passion for storytelling, she is excited for what comes next in her writing journey.
